正確判斷該用“You and I”還是“You and me”
You and I or You and me
讓我們一起來學習如何正確分辨何時該用“You and I”,何時該用“You and me”吧!
總是搞不清楚兩者之間的差別?
This is probably one of the most common sources of confusion for learners (and sadly also many native speakers); and so, almost every day you can hear people getting it wrong – even people who should know better! Yes, we all know “you and I” is the subject, and “you and me” is the object in a sentence, but for some unknown reason, many people have trouble putting this into practice.用這兩種小技巧分辨,就不會失誤囉!
A simple way to decide which to use is to forget the “you” for a moment, and just think about using “me” or “I” in isolation. Whichever one makes sense (i.e. is grammatically correct) is the one to couple with “you”. Alternatively, think of “you and I” as “we”, and “you and me” as “us” and you can’t go wrong. So, I/We won the lottery. You and I won the lottery (i.e. we won the lottery). It made me/us rich. It made you and me rich (i.e. it made us rich).
